“It has been a privilege to work alongside you. I will remain a committed supporter and will be cheering from the sidelines. I can’t wait to see what happens next.”

By Jane Rabinowicz, Executive Director

Dear friends,

Working at SeedChange over the past 9.5 years has been a joy and a gift. The experience has enriched my life and my worldview in ways I never imagined and for which I will always be grateful.

One of the things that stands out the most to me about this community is its intergenerationalism. The interaction between people of all ages is close to my heart, having worked at a meals-on-wheels for close to a decade. The SeedChange community is an extra-special mix of long-term supporters, people who knew Lotta Hitschmanova, and have been supporting us for 20, 30, 40, 50 years and more, combined with newer supporters who are passionate about food sovereignty, social justice and climate action at home and around the world.

I feel privileged to have been with this organization during its transition from USC Canada to SeedChange. We worked to ensure we respected our deep history and core values while opening a new chapter and embracing our future. With thriving international and domestic programs, a passionate, creative and committed team and a powerful mission, this is a good time for me to step away and create space for new leadership to bring SeedChange forward.

To all of our friends and supporters I offer my most profound thanks and appreciation. It has been a privilege to work alongside you. I will remain a committed supporter and will be cheering from the sidelines. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

With love,
Jane Rabinowicz
